Welland Wado-Kai Karate Club Fees
4. Financial Obligations
4.1 General
Students are responsible for ensuring that their financial obligations
to the club are met on time. As the Welland Wado-Kai Karate Clubs
are a non-profit organization, monthly dues are kept to a minimum.
However, in order for the club to meet its own financial obligations,
rent being the biggest of those, it is absolutely essential that dues
are received before the first week of the month.
4.2 Monthly Dues
Dues for each month are non-refundable and are payable by the first
work-out of the month. Post-dated cheques are encouraged. Students
who pay 3 months, 6 months or 12 months in advance will pay less than
those who pay by the month.
4.3 Yearly Registration
Each September, students are required to register for the next calendar
year with the Shintani Wado-Kai Karate Federation. Upon payment, a
new member is issued a Passport Book, which becomes a personal record
of the student's achievements in Karate. Returning students, upon
registration, will be issued a sticker to update his or her book.
Students are required to keep their Passport Books updated as they
are to be presented at Wado-Kai sanctioned events, such as tournaments,
clinics, seminars, and gradings. The registration fee is $40.00.
